🎓 Graduation Project – ELEVATE

An AI-powered e-commerce platform supporting 200+ Egyptian local fashion brands

Role: Backend & AI Integration Developer

ELEVATE is a mobile-first digital marketplace that connects consumers with Egyptian local clothing brands through a seamless shopping experience enhanced by artificial intelligence. Users can search for clothing using text or images, receive personalized recommendations, and virtually try on outfits using AI models—all in one centralized platform.

💡 Key Features

  • 🔍 Visual Search: Users upload a photo to find visually similar products using vector search and image embeddings.
  • 🤖 AI Try-On: Virtual fitting powered by Replicate & Fal.AI, allowing customers to preview how clothes look on them.
  • 🛍️ Multi-Brand Shopping: Unified access to 200+ Egyptian fashion brands with Arabic support and local payment options.
  • 🧠 Smart Recommendations: Personalized suggestions using Algolia based on user behavior and browsing history.
  • 📊 Brand Owner Dashboard: Analytics on sales, reviews, and subscriptions; full product management capabilities.

  • Designed and built RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
  • Managed data flows with Firebase Firestore, Realtime DB, and Authentication

My Portfolio

  • This project is my personal portfolio that I created to showcase my skills, interests, and achievements in software development.
  • I wanted to create a portfolio that reflected my personality and passion for coding, as well as my education and experience.
  • I used ReactJS in the front-end and some of its amazing packages like framer-motion, fontawesome and others, and Sanity in the backend that I used to edit the portfolio easily without affecting the design or functionality.

Muslim Website

  • Created an Islamic website using ReactJS and Material UI components.
  • Built a single resource for Muslims that included essential content such as the Holy Quran, the Hijri Calendar, and Adhkar.
  • Utilized various technologies, including React Hook, memoization, React Router, React Context API with useReducer and Immer, React custom hooks, Lazy loading, and Separation of concerns

Quoting Website

  • Utilized Node.js with Express.js, EJS engine, CSS, GraphQL with Apollor Explorer, JWT, MongoDB database, and MongoDB Atlas Search to create a full-stack website for exchanging quotations.
  • Integrated JWT (JSON Web Tokens) enables secure user authentication and authorization, guaranteeing a simple and safe login process.
  • Used the autocomplete functionality of MongoDB Atlas Search to provide quick quote searches.
  • Designed user-friendly interfaces with form validation feedback for an improved UX.

Student Database Management Website

  • Designed a full-stack web application for managing student information using Node.js, ExpressJS, EJS engine, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL, with a focus on using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern.
  • Admins can add new students, view, edit, and delete student information based on criteria such as ID, GPA, and level.
  • Students can edit their personal information, view and manage their courses, and store notes for each course.

Bank System Application

  • Developed a console-based application for managing banking transactions using Java and MySQL, with a focus on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern.

Key Features

  • Users can login or register to access their personal banking profile.
  • Users can view their active bank accounts, open new accounts, deposit, withdraw, transfer funds, view transaction histories, and close accounts.
  • Users can update their personal information such as name, address, phone number, and email.
  • The application keeps track of all user activities and generates logs for future reference.
